Uzbekistan Visa Guide 2026
Uzbekistan has one of the most open visa policies in Central Asia. Citizens of 90+ countries can enter visa-free for up to 30 days, and most others qualify for a fast online e-Visa.
Who can visit Uzbekistan visa-free?
Passport holders from the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, UAE, Israel, Turkey, and most CIS countries can enter Uzbekistan without a visa for stays of up to 30 days for tourism.
How to apply for an e-Visa
If your country is not on the visa-free list, apply online at e-visa.gov.uz. The standard e-Visa costs USD 20, is valid for 90 days, and allows a stay of up to 30 days. Processing usually takes 2–3 business days.
- Fill in the application form at e-visa.gov.uz
- Upload a passport scan and passport-style photo
- Pay the USD 20 fee by card
- Receive the e-Visa PDF by email — print or save on your phone
Passport requirements
Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your planned exit date and have at least one blank page for the entry stamp.
Registration during your stay
Hotels and official guesthouses register you automatically and give a small paper slip. Keep every slip until you leave — border officers may ask for them on exit. If you stay in a private apartment, you must register yourself online within 3 days.
